I now only have one of these beautiful, handmade early 20th century terracotta pots ….both have an interesting past & individual.
Still containing the hardened remains of sap collected from pine trees, used in the manufacture of paper and turpentine. They are truly different & becoming more rare as the process using these pots has all but disappeared.
“I fell in love with these unusual pots & immediately taken in by the richness of their history & colours – They make for a real talking point & can either planted-up or used simply for display”
